Jana Kramer became famous on the television show, playing Alex on One Tree Hill's finale for the last three seasons. Jana Kramer's first country releases were included in One Tree Hill's episodes, helping to propel her debut album in 2012 into the top 20 in the Billboard 200. Thirty One by 2015 was the follow-up and reached Number Ten. The singer ended the decade by appearing on Dancing with the Stars and appearing in a variety of TV shows alongside an assortment of singles that were not album tracks. The self-doubting Voices was released in 2021. Jana Rae Kramer, born in Rochester Hills Michigan and raised there, fell in love with country music. In the future, she was pursuing the career of a recording artist. Her first professional role was acting in the film Dead/Undead in 2002 when still just a teen. Over the years, she appeared on several shows including All My Children and CSI: NY before landing the recurring role of Noelle Davenport in NBC's Friday Night Lights the 2nd season (2007-2008). Kramer was then on TV as Portia Ranson in 90210 from 2008 until 2009, and as Brooke Manning in Entourage in the year 2009. Kramer was added to the cast of CW One Tree Hill in 2009 in the role of Alex Dupre, and she was on until the final episode in 2012, which was half way in. Jana Kramer Kramer's run on One Tree Hill saw her get a recording contract from Elektra Records. In 2011 she debuted the contemporary love song from the country genre, I Won't Let Go. The track debuted in mid-2012 and was featured on her first complete album Jana Kramer. It landed in the Top Five of the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. Kramer continued to appear in movies such as Heart of the Country 2013 or Country Crush 2016 which would be appealing to her fanbase. Kramer released her sophomore studio album Thirty One together with Warner Music Nashville, in October 2015. It received a boost from the Top Five country song I Got the Boy as well in a duet featuring Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. This album reached number 3 among the Billboard 200 country charts and number 10 in the Billboard 200. Two months on Dancing with the Stars 23rd episode ended up with her finishing fourth. The same year, she had a hit adult contemporary hit song called Straight No Chaser's Feels Like Christmas.
